Are you ready for some out-of-this-world fun?!
Join us on April 4th from 5:00-7:30pm for our first Space Night at the pavilion!
5:00-6:00pm- Come enjoy the Mabry Music Makers and Chorus as they perform.  Families can indulge in any of our 4 different food trucks, located on the Coleman track.  Be sure to visit our make-and-take space stations on the perimeter of the pavilion.  We will have things like Stomp Rockets, Crater Drop, Paper Airplanes, and a chance to meet/take photos with our guest speaker!  Food trucks will be available throughout the entire evening and will be offering $5 kids meals.  Feel free to stop by anytime between 4:45 and 7:30.

6:00-6:45pm- Our guest speaker this evening is astronaut Don Thomas!  An astronaut, educator, speaker, and author, Don has spent 44 days in orbit on 4 different flight missions.  Learn more about him on his website

6:45-7:30pm- Students can join break out sessions in the 500 wing to delve deeper into various space activities.  Don will help circulate and join in the fun as well!  Grades PK/K and 1 will learn about planets and do an art project.  Grades 2 and 3 will complete a Touchdown Engineer Design Challenge.  Grades 4 and 5 will #GoForMars in a LEGO challenge.
